Mr. Kenny Jarvis is a GOLD underwriter for our Refiner's Fire banquet this year. We are thankful that he has taken on this incredible role with us! We have asked Mr. Jarvis some questions and we are excited to share those with you. We are excited for you to get to know him a little bit more.

1. How did you get into the business that you are in?

   1. Friend and Mentor of mine Mike Parker were in insurance at the time. We had many conversations about all aspects of life including how Insurance had been a good career for him. An Agent with State Farm contacted me as I was finishing up at the University of Tennessee and offered me a position with her Agency.  She was good to me and told me that I needed to work toward getting my own agency someday and that’s what I did. 

2. What are the top three things you wish people knew about Farm Bureau that they may not know?

   1. You don’t have to be a Farmer to have Farm Bureau Insurance

   2. We are the #1 insurer in the state of Tennessee for auto, home, and life

   3. Farm Bureau is a Multi-line insurance carrier including Commercial Insurance

4. What is the greatest lesson you have learned?

   1. The Sovereignty of God-The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all (Psalm 103:19 NASB).

7. Why you support the Pregnancy Resource Center?

   1. Every human being, no matter how small, is fearfully and wonderfully made. Every human being, no matter how disregarded, bears the image of God.

8. Why do you wish more people knew about and supported the PRC?

   1. I believe PRC loves people and they want to be truthful with individuals about their situations and give sound advice and counsel. “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors, there is safety. Proverbs 11:14
